Oscar results

This years Oscars was filled with mixed results from viewers. Best Picture went to Hurt Locker which surprised many people including, director of Avatar James Cameron. Hurt Locker also beat Cameron in best director which went to Kathryn Bigelow. Many people wonder hwo this was possible, but i believe the emotional effect Hurt Locker provided propelled it to the top. Avatar was indeed stunning. The special effects were mind blowing, and it’s obcious to see why it got such great results. But when you really think about the story line of Avatar it reminds me a little of Disney classic Pokahauntis. It’s just something for all you Avatar fans to think about, and it proves that independant film makers still have a chance.
